Our client is a long established and successful AV Systems Integrator with a fanatstic reputation for delivering Corporate AV projects. Working with a host of Enterprise clients, they design and specify AV solutions for office fit-out and technology refresh projects in a predominately corporate setting. 

As a result of continued success, they are now looking to recruit an AV Solutions Sales Specialist to work closely alongside the UK Managing Director and help further expand their extensive pipeline of projects in the North of the UK. 

Potential candidates will have a proven track record of generating and cultivating solutions based sales opportunities within the UK AV integration marketplace.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

  • A minimum of 3+ Years AV Sales Experience preferably with experience selling Pro AV technologies including Video Conferencing Solutions and or Digital Signage Solutions. Likely candidates will have experience working for an AV Systems Integrator or a recognised AV/Videoconferencing Market Specialist selling these solutions direct to end users.  
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets is required as well as a strong technical understanding and competence for the solutions he or she has sold thus far in their career.
  • The candidate will be able to demonstrate that he or she has been integral in developing and closing key opportunities within their present and past employment and capable of presenting and ‘selling to’ senior management within target accounts.
  • Excellent people-skills are a must as well as the ability to influence and be effective in sustaining business relationships

A basic salary of circa 35-45k with a 60-75k OTE is available with uncapped earnings, so there is the ability to significantly over achieve the OTE. Car allowance +pension +healthcare +25 Days holiday.

Due to a significant uptake of client projects overseas, specifically the Middle East, our client is seeking a Senior AV Systems Designer / AV Design Manager to complement their established and ever-increasing International AV Design team.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales/Pre-sales Support

• Assisting Sales as a consultant on projects requiring high level technical and design knowledge.
• Working closely with the pre-sales department, you will be ensuring that all designs operate as they should before a handover takes place with the projects team.
• Working closely alongside the Technical Director and Company Directors on technology and the direction it is taking in order to aid in future proofing the business.

Design Standards

• Possess thorough and comprehensive knowledge of AV design and engineering.
• Relevant industry experience ideally with appropriate technology qualification.
• Design & Specify AV systems including schematic production.
• Provide M&E, architectural & IT information to the professional team on the AV design.
• In-depth knowledge of IT and AV system design. High level of computer literacy including MS office.

Design Manager

• Experience of Audio-Visual Design in Leisure, Hospitality, Themed and Commercial markets.
• Develop the in-house design team to agreed standards for documentation and delivery.
• Managing the design team on a day to day basis.
• Managing design workload to ensure designs are completed to company standard and delivered on time.

This role would suit someone from an Audio-Visual Systems Design background anywhere in the UK.

We are actively seeking freelance Event/Corporate Event Technicians in London to work on-site at Financial institutions and large corporate customer sites in 2021. We expect to see an increase in demand for freelancers in the New Year as Corporate companies begin to bring staff back to their Central London offices. 

Suitable candidates will be available for a quick start in the New Year and have customer facing, corporate experience providing technical support involving all aspects of audio visual events set up and support. 

Our contract / freelance roles would suit a seasoned freelancer looking for additional days/weeks work, or alternatively, someone in between jobs or out of work looking for a short to medium term solution.
Please note, actual day rates are dependant on specific site and experience/skill-set of workers.

Desired AV Events Technician experience:
Audio:

  • Experience using Digital desks such as Cl series, QL series, LS9, M7CL ,etc
  • Knowledge of industry standard radio mics ( i.e Shure ULXD ) – Some RF theory handy
  • Audio to/from webcast, video conference and phone lines – Town hall scenario webcasts and video conference calls
  • Liaising with call operators
  • Mixing live audio for multiple presenters, panel sessions and high profile speakers – using multiple mics for resilience
  • Avoiding audio ‘ring’ in challenging audio environments
  • Correctly putting mics on presenters/Dealing with high profile presenters

Video:

  • Experience with vision mixing, use of industry standard vision mixers
  • Mixing to multiple outputs such as video conference and presentation screens simultaneously. Using auxes
  • Setting camera shots and operation of remotely controlled cameras
  • Playing videos from playback pro
  • Mixing between multiple video and presentation sources. Use of backups for resilience
  • Knowledge of power point/ Adobe presentations
  • Knowledge of Scalers – such as Analogway/Broadscan
  • Patching via a video matrix – some knowledge of video standards

Control: Some knowledge of Crestron/Extron/AMX processors and touch panels for patching of audio and video signals

Lighting: Any lighting experience welcomed but not essential.
The above is a very basic breakdown of some of the day to day skills required of an experienced event technician, but are not all essential. Generally, a few of these skills combined is enough and the rest can be taught.

Due to further expansion in the US Sales team, they are now seeking a Regional Enterprise Sales Director with a proven track record of selling complex software solutions at C-level to Fortune 250/500 Enterprise clients across the US East Coast territories. This is a fantastic opportunity in a growth sector as Enterprise companies are now more than ever looking for a stable internal video communications solution due to COVID-19. Ideal candidates will also have previous experience selling SaaS solutions direct to Enterprise customers as well as in partnership with Global IT/Telco Channel Partners such as Microsoft, BT Global Services, Verizon, Dimension Data, NTT Com, Telefonica etc.  

Successful candidates will be accustomed to average deal sizes of circa $80-100k and be able to demonstrate recent achievement of revenue targets at circa 1Million US Dollars.  

This is predominately a remote home-based role and the successful candidate will benefit from a flexible and forward-thinking company attitude to time management. Candidates will need to be based in the US East Coast, ideally Boston, New Jersey or New York regions and be open to East Coast US travel as and when needed. 

Experience Required: 

  • At least 5 years’ experience in an Enterprise Sales and/or Strategic Account Management role in an Enterprise Software/SaaS environment.
  • Significant experience cultivating successful C-Level customer relationships and large Corporate Accounts, as well as experience working with Global channel partners.
  • Confident and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly refined interpersonal skills and a solid track record of working cross-functionally to effectively cultivate a pipeline of strategic sales opportunities.

BDM role Intro:

BDM role responsibilities:

• You will proactively pursue business-to-business leads through phone, email, social media, etc. identifying appropriate contacts within target companies.
