We’re working with a well-established provider of AV solutions who are expanding their events team. They are looking for an experienced Audio Visual Events Technician
to take a leading role in the technical delivery of live events across the UK.
The Role
As the lead technician, you’ll be responsible for preparing, configuring, and operating professional audio, video, and lighting systems. You will manage on-site setup, provide live technical support, and ensure smooth operation throughout each event. Key duties include:
- Preparing and testing AV equipment to match event requirements
- Leading on-site setup, operation, and troubleshooting
- Coordinating with clients, event producers, and crew
- Overseeing safe de-rig and equipment return, reporting any issues
We’re looking for a hands-on AV professional with:
- 3+ years’ technical experience in live events or AV rental
- Strong knowledge of audio desks, video switchers, projection, LED walls, microphones, and playback systems
- Solid understanding of signal flow and troubleshooting
- Ability to read technical drawings and stage plans
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and nationwide travel
- Full UK driving licence
