I am working with a fast-growing audio-visual systems integrator (now circa 45 people) with a busy pipeline of high-end projects across the UK and Europe. The culture here is excellent, with sales, delivery, and engineering actually backing each other up and making a point of celebrating their wins together.
The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and full on-site commissioning of various AV systems, ensuring everything works to specification and meets the client's needs.
Your time will be split between hands-on technical work and project closure:
- Commissioning and Testing (90%): Full on-site commissioning, advanced configuration, off-site testing, troubleshooting, clear reporting, and client training.
- Reporting and Management (10%): Vetting closure reports, managing "as-built vs. as-drawn" updates, and attending monthly improvement and team meetings.
- Ad-Hoc: Van and equipment stock management, scheduling office days, and maintaining file structure/revision control.
What you will need:
- At least 4 years of solid audio-visual industry experience.
- Strong DSP programming skills (Biamp, Polycom, Extron, Crestron, or Shure).
- AVIXA CTS certification is essential (CTS-I is a bonus).
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and problem-solve on-site without walking away from a challenge.
- A clean driving licence.
- Desirable: Crestron P101/P102, QSC, Extron, or control system programming skills.
On offer:
- Circa £40,000 to £45,000 basic salary
- Car allowance
- Company benefits package
If you want to join a team that values quality standards, invests in your training, and keeps a solid pipeline of work on the books without the corporate nonsense, apply via the link or get in touch with the team at IN2-AV to discuss the role in more detail.
