As part of the brand’s ongoing North American growth, they are now seeking a Business Development Director to lead commercial strategy and execution across the US region for their Professional Audio Division.
  
About the Role
  
As Business Development Director, US, you will be responsible for driving long-term growth across five core verticals:
  

  • Music Industry (MI)
  • Touring and Live Sound
  • Broadcast
  • Theatre
  • Recording Environments

  
You will lead and coach a talented business development team, building opportunity value and deepening relationships across the professional audio ecosystem. Working closely with Sales Directors, Marketing, Product Management and Application Engineering, you will execute strategies that strengthen customer engagement, accelerate pipeline performance and deliver sustained regional growth.
  
This is a strategic and visible leadership role reporting to the VP of Sales, Americas.
  
Key Responsibilities
  
  • Lead and inspire a national business development team across key Pro Audio markets
  • Develop and execute regional business plans that deliver measurable growth
  • Build relationships with top clients, partners and key industry influencers
  • Drive collaboration with internal teams on go-to-market strategy and execution
  • Track and manage pipeline performance, forecasting and opportunity conversion
  • Champion brand visibility across major US events, trade shows and partner networks
  • Represent the US region within the global business, ensuring local insight informs strategy
  
What You’ll Bring
  
  • A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in strategic business development or enterprise sales, including three years in the Pro Audio or AV industry
  • Proven success leading business development or sales teams, managing strategy execution, pipeline performance and people development
  • Strong understanding of IT, networking and AV integration environments
  • Established network within the Music, Touring, Broadcast, and Theatre markets
  • Experience managing CRM systems, reporting and performance forecasting
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically, with occasional international travel
