They are seeking an experienced Senior AV Project Manager with a solid engineering background to lead bespoke, large-scale audio-visual integration projects. If you enjoy taking complex, ambitious technology designs off the page and making them come to life on site, this is the perfect opportunity.
What You Will Do
As Senior AV Project Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of client deployments across the UK and internationally - managing projects from initial site surveys right through to commissioning and hand-off.
- Lead Bespoke Deployments: Manage the delivery of high-profile AV projects, including large-scale LED displays, interactive Digital Signage, dynamic Projection Mapping, and fully automated AV Control Systems.
- Technical Leadership: Draw on your engineering background to collaborate effectively with design teams, software specialists, site engineers, and third-party contractors to guarantee smooth execution.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary technical contact for global brands, retail architects, main contractors, and internal delivery teams.
- On-Site Management: Oversee site teams, installation crews, health and safety compliance, and system commissioning in fast-paced commercial environments.
- Project Delivery: Keep tight control over timelines, budgets, and quality standards to ensure flawless delivery on every project.
What We Are Looking For
- Engineering Background: You started your career as an AV Systems or Installation Engineer before moving into Project Management. You understand rack builds, cable infrastructure, signal flow, and mounting requirements in real-world environments.
- Proven Track Record: Experience managing commercial or retail AV deployments in busy environments (Retail, Hospitality, QSR, or experiential venues).
- Core Tech Stack Experience: Strong working knowledge of digital signage platforms, LED hardware, projection tech, and control systems (such as Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron, or similar).
- Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of IP-based AV distribution, control networks, and system architecture.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex technical details into clear project milestones for clients and contractors alike.
- Certifications (Desirable): CTS / CTS-D / CTS-I, Prince2, PMP, or manufacturer training (Q-SYS, Crestron, Dante).
