Sales Manager/ Account Director

IN2-AV Resourcing is working with an extremely successful AV Systems Integrator in the UK who are looking to recruit a Sales Manager.

HAMPSHIRE, UK
£45,000-£65,000 base + car allowance + 10% bonus + benefits

As Sales Manager, you will report directly into the Managing Director and will be tasked with engaging with clients and developing propositions to achieve target sales in specific areas. You will also have the support and management responsibilities of an Account Executive.

Main Job Functions & Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning:
Maintain a focused brand proposition and develop effective AV solutions to meet key target customers requirements including producing suitable marketing campaigns and support materials
Identify and recommend creative and/or cost-effective AV technologies to enhance competitiveness
Agree SMART business development targets with MD, on which the budget will be based & working with MD and Director closely to develop our propositions to target markets

Pre-Sales:
•  Help encourage adoption of DTools to provide core platform to generate quotes and schematics
 Define the required pre-sales support outputs to facilitate Right First Time performance
 Recommend organisational resources to enable the required outputs

Quotation:
Client requirements clarification
 Basic system design, to be verified with Technical Support
 Timely and accurate issue of Quotations

Business Process Improvement
In conjunction with other Senior Managers, to critically and constructively evaluate our corporate performance to optimise “Right First Time” implementation performance and minimise cost variances against each job’s budget

The Role
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate.

  •        Proven sales success and successful profit-orientated negotiator; must be commercially numerate
  •        Great communicator, both verbally and written (be able to creative a narrative in words Clients understand)
  •        Through personal and professional integrity, build and retain biding customer relationships
  •        Hard working creative problem solver
  •        Good people manager
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of AV technologies

    SALARY/BENEFITS PACKAGE

£45,000-£65,000 base + car allowance + 10% bonus + benefits
